If I need to get dressed in a flash, I grab leggings, a tunic, boots and race out the door. It’s my uniform for those must-get-dressed-now moments.
Only, I usually don’t venture beyond basic black leggings. When I spotted shopper, Beverly Alexander, the other afternoon, I felt inspired to expand my leggings palette.
Beverly’s textured, grey velour leggings are as easy to throw on but far more interesting. She found her leggings at Macy’s and paired them with a bold colorful, chevron patterned top and brown blazer, both finds from Forever 21 (Levels 1 & 2). She picked up her purple scarf at a mall kiosk (Level 3). Beverly’s bag is a Macy’s score.

I just love fashion. I love to mix and match and put stuff together… I look for the bargains.
My favorite store is Macy’s, because they have quality clothes and it’s reasonable when it’s on sale. Nordstrom is my other favorite store.
I might try on four pants and five different tops. I don’t know what it is. Something just clicks and you feel good in it and I stop trying on…
A good fit. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the outfit. When it fits, you feel good and you look good! You want to get the perfect fit! You will know when it fits right when you put it on.
I would go to Nordstrom and Macy’s and I would look for outfits that suit my frame and that I like. I like bright, vibrant colors. I try to stay away from the dull ones.
