You’re restaurant food pictures are perfect and the angles that they’re taken make the food look even more appealing. Are you able to share what camera you use? Continued success!
Nancy,
Thank you for the compliment! That means so much! It’s a really basic camera – the Sony CyberShot. I find that the pictures come out better when I get extremely close to my subjects. Thanks again!
Best,
Rebecca

Would love some ideas for Valentine’s Day for my teen daughter!
Jamie, Tell me a little about her and I’ll send you some suggestions. -Rebecca
She is a fashionista, loves vintage things.
Jamie,
I will think on that one and get back to you with some suggestions by Monday/Tuesday.
Best,
Rebecca
Jamie,
I’ve been keeping my eyes open for vintage inspired accessories. I saw some necklaces at Kokopelli that have a vintage vibe w/a pearl look. I would also check Fire & Ice. Best,
Rebecca
Clock? I don’t see a clock, though at first glance it looks like one. Very cute, though! I think it’s a tin (cookies? candies? inside?) heart shaped with conversation hearts and a spinner. Also, the Owl tin is adorable as well! You never know what you’ll find on this blog!
I love the strawberries too – I saw them and before I could see the caption, I immediately knew they were from Godiva!
Ohhh… yes, I CAN double click to get a huge, detailed picture! I don’t like that’s it’s a “flying pig” though I’m sure some designer thought a pig cupid would be cute…. I think it’s more like “I’ll love you WHEN PIGS FLY!” LOL!!
Marshella,
Those “Cupigs” are selling fast. They’re even cuter in person. -R
Marshella, Thanks! I think the tins have chocolates inside but will double check. -R
i could always use new valentines day gift ideas (=
Kathleen,
Thanks for entering. Anyone in particular on your list? I’m happy to send customized ideas… -Rebecca
i have a boyfriend of a little over 2 years now and don’t quite know what to get him anymore gifts wise
Hi Kathleen,
What are his interests? Thanks for writing. -Rebecca
Any suggestions for a good breadmaker? Probably not the most romantic gift– but we do love bread!
Donna,
That sounds like a great gift! I would check Crate & Barrel, Sur La Table, Williams-Sonoma and Macy’s. I will look into it for you as well and will report back. Stay tuned… Thanks for writing. -Rebecca
Donna,
Getting back to you on the bread maker. Williams Sonoma carried one by Breville. I would check that one and also check out Sur La Table. Happy Valentine’s Day! -Rebecca
What great gifts! I love the recordable books. That would be a great gift to my kids from their grandparents that live in another state. They could hear their voice for a bedtime story anytime they wanted. Thanks for sharing these great ideas.
Jessica,
Thanks! Thanks for writing. I’m also a big fan of the recordable books!
Best,
Rebecca
The Godiva strawberries you have pictured look amazing. They are now on my want list. Thanks for the suggestions!
Lisa,
Thanks! It was quite the challenge to photograph them without gobbling them all up! -Rebecca
I think it is wonderful to give someone a chance to win a gift like this. If I were to win this $100.00 gift, I would use it to get my daughter a special Valentines gift.
Teresa,
That’s so sweet! What would you get her?
Best,
Rebecca
I’m loving your Valentine’s Blog post especially the one about the pink hot chocolate. I love all things pink, I must get some. I would love to see my Marine Fiancé’s reaction when he sees his hot chocolate turn pink lol.
I love chocolate covered strawberries. Can’t wait to celebrate V-Day with my family!!
Erica,
They are one of my favorites too! Thanks for writing! -Rebecca
Any Valentine’s Day ideas for a 22 year old guy who is applying to med school and is interested in nerdy science things? Also, where is a good place to get a red scarf?! You would think you could find them everywhere but I can’t find one!
Hi! Thanks for writing. I would check Marbles to see if there are any science related games. Brookstone is another possibility for something hi-tech. For the scarf, I can think of 3 place: there is a kiosk on the 3rd floor that sells scarves in all different colors. Have you checked Macy’s and Nordstrom? Hope that helps! -Rebecca
U can’t ever go wrong with chocolate. Nice meeting you
I would love to give my grand baby to be’s mommy a nice gift for giving me a chance to be a grandma! <3
Mary Anne,
That is so sweet! Congrats on becoming a grandma!

Rebecca
