Ever find that once you see a style you like, you start to see it EVERYWHERE?
Have you noticed all the skirts with exposed zipper detailing? I was leaving the mall the other day when I had to stop Selcan Turk and ask her to be this week’s GURU Style Star! Turns out that she bought her skirt in Turkey, where she lives. She’s in Baltimore visiting a friend.
If I ever see an exposed zipper denim skirt like the one Selcan is wearing, I’ll have to snatch it up! (Please let me know if you know where I can find one.) I’ve recently spotted other zipper skirts in the window at H&M and in Ann Taylor.
Selcan is wearing a Diesel jacket over a cheery yellow top. She completed her look with more pops of yellow! Note her standout platform sandals and beaded necklace.
Describe your style.
I like casual chic.
What fall trends are you excited about?
I like mini-skirts with larger tops. Booties as well. And, mini-dresses — all kinds of mini-dresses.
What are you looking to find today at the mall?
I’m going to buy jean jackets, maybe some flat boots for winter.
