Colorblocking continues to play a starring fashion role this fall!
At BCBGMAXAZRIA (Level 2), it translates to encouragement to “Think Outside the Block!”
Store Associate Mandy Westveld gives us a closer look at the short-sleeve, chunky knit colorblocked sweater seen above. You can pair it with just about anything. It takes on a completely different look when you add the Silvie skirt in Mustard to the mix, instead of the neutral one.
Along with colorblocking patterns, you’ll also find a rainbow of pieces — blazers, blouses, pants, dresses, skirts, shoes and accessories — that give you the tools to create your own colorblock masterpiece!
I asked Mandy to create a look for herself with the solid separates. She’s wearing the Bowie blazer in Boysenberry over a white tiered shell and the Silvie skirt in Tangerine Tango. She added pops of Cobalt with her slingbacks and beaded strands.
If you take the blazer off, the blue pops even more!
When it comes to creating your own colorblocking combos, anything goes. Take the time to play and try on different combinations to see what looks best on you!
