You’ll go MARBLES for Marbles: The Brain Store! Grand Opening Tomorrow!

10 Aug

I have a feeling that everyone in my family will go MARBLES for Marbles: The Brain Store when it opens TOMORROW (8/11)!

You’ll find good-for-your brain toys, games, books and software for all ages.

At the grand opening, there will be a drawing every hour for fun giveaways!

Here’s a sneak peek inside the store.

Level 2, Crate & Barrel Wing

Every single item at Marbles is tested by a neurologist. If it doesn’t do something for the brain, then it doesn’t make the cut!

The store is divided into categories that coordinate with different regions of the brain. The categories include word skills, memory, critical thinking, visual perception and coordination.

Wall-to-Wall Fun!

Something for all ages

With this you-build-it marble maze set, you connect the interlocking cubes into any shape you want and then watch a marble travel through the course you create. It’s called Q-Ba-Maze ($39.99).

Here’s another fun item. Did you know that Leonardo da Vinci’s talents extended to drawing mechanical throwing machines? After you put together da Vinci’s Catapult ($24.99), you get the instant gratification of throwing things!

This is a longtime favorite at my house!  My kids have enjoyed their Giant Brain Noodles ($16.99) for years now. You can twist them into any shape you like!

With the Mindstein ($29.99) trivia game, players need to answer five trivia questions then use letters associated with each answer to unscramble a five-letter word.

Exercises your hippocampus — the memory center of the brain

Check out The GeekBox (34.99).  Your challenge is to take apart and then strategize on how to put back together each of these wooden puzzles.

Marbles runs monthly FAMILY GAME NIGHTS. The first one is next Thursday 8/16 from 5:30-7:30 pm. No need to rsvp.

You’re invited for monthly family game nights!

Inside the store, a sign caught my eye. It says, “According to Dr. Stuart Brown, the leading expert on play behavior, when we play we are open to new possibilities, thoughts and insights. Play fuels our brain growth, relieves stress and fosters creativity.”

Can’t wait to hear about your finds at Marbles!

GURU TIP: If you solve this brainy challenge and give the correct answer in store tomorrow (8/11), you’ll take home a PRIZE!  If this challenge has you stumped, no worries. Watch for a riddle each day posted in the front window. Anyone with the correct answer will get a giveaway item.  While Supplies Last.

A Challenge for You!
