Your Shopping DILEMMAS Solved!

13 Jul

What is your shopping dilemma? Is there a style you’ve wanted to try out but don’t know where to start?

I asked shoppers about the fashion challenges they are facing and then sleuthed the mall for solutions!  Just click on the image below to hear about the challenges I took on….

Now, for my solutions!

CHALLENGE #1:  Shorts that don’t tug or squeeze.

Check out my find at Ann Taylor.  The side zipper on these shorts is not only flattering but will reduce the chances of pulling in the front. They have some stretch to them and are trendy without being too short. You’ll find them in multiple colors.

The shopper who inspired my search for shorts mentioned that she wants shorts that are not too tight on her upper thighs. One of the managers at Ann Taylor tells me that these shorts look great on a wide range of shapes.

CHALLENGE #2: Finding a structured swimsuit that is cute

I have two solutions from Nordstrom.  The first one is by Miraclesuit and has triple-strength spandex! That’s not all that makes for a flattering silhouette. There is also side seam ruching. The thicker straps are comfortable and offer support.

Love the straps on this Badgley Mischka “MB11″ Shirred Maillot. The suit is structured and at the same time - sexy and supportive. The wrapped design, with shirred panels, on the front of the suit adds a slimming touch.

CHALLENGE #3  Finding a dress that falls right when you don’t have a lot of height!

Take a look at the Dotted Strapless Dress from The Limited.  Since the length on this dress is shorter in the front and back, with longer sides, it gives the illusion of longer legs.
