This week’s GURU Style Star hasn’t lived long enough yet to see any fashion trends come back for a repeat performance. She’s only 1!
Eden was shopping with her mom and three big brothers when her cheery style caught my eye — plus, she’s adorable! Eden’s outfit is all about pops of color and pattern play, which is “in” right now. Her Children’s Place tunic features polka dots on top and a sweet floral pattern on the bottom. Her mom, Dennell Gainey, paired it with a pair of pink leggings with little black hearts on the ankles — also from Children’s Place. Eden’s tangerine sandals, adorned with hot pink bows, couldn’t be cuter.
I try to not dress Eden very, very babyish. I try to dress her a little more edgy. When I look for things, I look for things that are like me. I’m very colorful, very bright. When I dress her, I try to dress her that way, especially in the summertime.
It’s like having a Cabbage Patch doll all over again. You get to really play dress up. She’s the only little girl I have. She and I are the only ones who get to play dress up in the house.
My favorite store in the mall has to be H&M. I think because of their clothes and their pricing. They have great clothes for kids as well. They have very edgy clothes for kids
