This week’s GURU Style Star describes her style as “sophisticated city girl with a touch of flirty girlyness!” Meet Melissa Lazarofsky, an assistant manager at Free People.
Here, Melissa layered a sea foam green, open knit sweater over a longer tank, both from Free People. She threw on a scarf for “a little pop.” Her eagle necklace is also a Free People find. Melissa tucked her high-waist skinny jeans into a pair of brown, beloved and broken-in, Steve Madden boots.

I would probably invest in new denim. I just live in jeans, even in the summer. I’m not a shorts person. Frye Boots. Timeless staples that can be used throughout the trends.
I’d have to say I’m most excited about the return of high rise denim as being trendy. I wear it all the time, because it is the most comfortable and flattering for my figure. It’s always nice when what works for you aligns with the trends.
Probably this really cheesy broken-in graphic t-shirt. It’s a DJ Kitty with a big boom box. I love it! Or, my NFL Jersey collection.
My engagement and wedding rings. They are the only real jewelry that I own and obviously they have tremendous sentimental value.
