I was running into the mall for just a few minutes the other day when I happened upon this week’s GURU Style Star. I spotted Naomy Ramos in the parking lot. Glad I didn’t park in my usual spot that day!
She was on her way to Nordstrom, where she works.
Naomy’s outfit is striking — a XXI Forever pinstripe button-down with distressed ruffles topped with a fitted navy blazer and paired with a cheery yellow J. Crew skirt. The skirt’s white circle pattern gives it almost a tie dye look. Her blazer is a thrift store find and is in a boy’s size. Naomy finished her look with a pair of metallic gold snakeskin Sperry’s.
Her red Longchamp bag is a Nordstrom find.
I think it’s simple, classic but a little funky. I like to keep things simple, but I like to throw little twists in there.
J. Crew and Nordstrom. J. Crew because it is simple. You can find different colors and patterns. Nordstrom, because you can find everything as well. We have Nordstrom Rack, which is nice.
Honestly, probably my mother. I get a lot of her clothes. I love it! They are so vintage. They are so classy. I think her style is so simple and classy. That’s kind of how I dress.
Cork wedges in a natural color. M.C. Hammer pants. I feel like I could dress those up or down. I really like them. I think that’s what is next for me.
I love tribal. I love tribal patterns. I think I would wear one tribal piece and wear solids with it.
If you want to catch up on any of my GURU Style Star posts, here is a look back.
