I can’t believe it’s already time for this week’s GURU Style Star segment.
This time, I don’t have just one, or two, but SIX Style Stars for you to meet!
As I was leaving the mall the other day, six cuties caught my eye — a combo sister and cousin act — ranging from ages 1 to 9, chaperoned by two of the three moms.
The oldest three girls were about to get treated to manicures. (lucky!)
Taylor is the oldest and wearing an H&M top and jeans from Justice. Taylor’s mom describes her 9-year-old daughter’s style as “definitely eclectic and exciting.” Taylor calls it “bright and colorful.”
She’s the big sister to twins, Sydney and Logan, age 2. (Sydney has the mini pigtails). Sydney and Logan are wearing cozy matching grey and white zebra print tops and Children’s Place jeans. “Sydney and Logan just wear what I put on them. I like jeans,” says mom. “I normally never dress them alike. They’re two different children. They’re very different.” On this day, they were rushing and the matching outfits were convenient.
Little McKinley, 1, is the youngest. I love her cat sweater! She is wearing jeans from Children’s Place. Her pink booties, with white pom poms, are Gymboree. Her big sister, Morgan, is 4 and chose her own ensemble. Her sweet pink dress, with the ballet dancer, hails from H&M. She finished her outfit with Gap boots.
McKinley and Morgan’s mom reports her favorite place to shop for her girls is H&M. “H&M is the most fashion forward for kids,” she shares. “I like the Gap too.”
My own little girl, who was with me when we spotted these style stars, was most impressed by how lucky these girls are to all have each other!
