I’m making a special crab cake dinner for my husband. He’s been my Valentine for 41 years!
Yum! Sounds delicious.
Congrats on 41 years together! -Rebecca
I am giving my husband all of my attention today and whatever he wants to do is what we will do – no questions asked!!! How better to say “I love you”, right?
Wanda,
Enjoy the day together! Thanks for writing/

A special dinner for my valentine!
My other love (my puppy)… I knitted him a sweater!
Mimi,
You’re making me feel guilt for not showing any puppy love. Will have to go get a treat today.
Enjoy the dinner!
Best,
Rebecca
Rebecca,
I felt the guilt last night when I was writing out valentine’s day cards and gathering gifts as my little one watched, so I quickly knitted up the sweater!!! : )
I made little baskets of yummy goodies for the kids and my husband gets a delicious home-cooked dinner tonight. I’d love to treat him to a great dinner out at Stoney River as a post-Valentine’s Day present!
Meredith-
Very sweet! Enjoy dinner!
-Rebecca
We will probably go out for a fun luncheon. I am giving my husband of twenty years my undivided attention all day and, hopefully, that will inspire him for the next week or so…
Norma,
I hope you and your hubby have a wonderful day together!!
Best,
Rebecca
My daughter and I saw “The Vow” over the weekend, and we will be visiting our favorite stylist, Nicky at Bubbles, very soon for mother/daughter makeovers.
Janet,
Love that idea!
Thanks for writing.
Best,
Rebecca
For my hubby, some of his favorite dark chocolates, non-pareils! Dinner later in the week. For myself, a hair fix! And, later, some pizza with my older aunt and one of her friends, that has no one to share her days with. Happy Valentine’s day Rebecca, enjoy!
Very sweet! Love that you are taking the time to celebrate with your older aunt as well!
Best,
Rebecca
My boyfriend came up last weekend (he lives in DC), and we went to the Cheesecake Factory
Also, we got each other books.
Did you surprise each other with the titles or did you pick out the books together? Thanks for writing. Rebecca
I am securing a babysitter for the weekend so that hubby and I can spend some quality time together. It will be a delayed Valentine!
Right there with you on the delayed V-Day! -Rebecca
My husband of soon to be 23 years and I exchanged cards. He leaves very early for work every day and my card was waiting for him as he woke and when I got up he had mine waiting for me. Every day he gives me a present of himself by doing so much for me as I have a very long work day and week. From yard to house work he does it all, he is amazing and I am so lucky to have someone care as much as he does.
We don’t have much time together but we know that it is not the quantity of time but the quality of time that you have. I hope to maybe surprise him with a dinner from Stoney River, he loves steak and we have not been there!
Rhonda,
That is so sweet. Cards are such lost treasures these days. I hope your lucky husband gets to read what you wrote here.
Best,
Rebecca
I’ll be celebrating my brother’s birthday for Valentine’s Day – with his favorite chocolate cake!
Sounds great! Happy Valentine’s Day -Rebecca
My husband had to work (boo!) so I think we will go to and early a movie tomorrow while the kids are at school!
Paula,
Sounds fun! You’ll have the theater to yourselves!
-Rebecca
I’m giving my husband Berger cookies for Valentine’s Day – his favorite!
Mine too :>
Congrats to Mimi! Enjoy your gift card to Stoney River. Thanks to everyone for writing in to the blog. If there are ever topics you want to see here, just let me know.
Best,
Rebecca
