Are you wearing red right now?
If not, you may want to change your outfit. Or, you have an excuse to pick up something new.
Today (2/3) is National Wear Red Day. I wanted to remind you that Towson Town Center is hosting a special event from 12-6 pm to raise awareness about heart disease in women and to support Go Red for Women, a foundation created by the American Heart Association.
You can join the fight against the #1 killer of women and help boost the mall’s donation to Go Red for Women. Starting at noon, stop by the Grant Court (Level 1), wearing something red, to have your picture taken and explain why you decided to “Go Red.” For each photo taken, Towson Town Center will donate $1 to Go Red for Women (up to $5,000).
The first 200 people wearing red to pose for a snapshot will receive a FREE gift bag with a $10 mall gift card, American Heart Association giveaways and other special retailer and eatery offers. You must be 18 or older to receive a gift bag and have your photo posted on the mall’s Facebook Page. There will also be free blood pressure screenings and healthy snacks from 12-4 pm.
